“My Black Valentine’s” set to spice your Valentine’s Weekend

Juliana, an intelligent and celebrated investigative journalist is on a mission. She has caught wind of an illegal arms trade that threatens to expose the high and mighty in the country. So Juliana decides to investigate the illegal trade and expose it to the unsuspecting country. It isn’t long till she unearths a dark secret that will shatter the very foundations of her life and put her very own existence on in doubt. The man she fell in love with, a senior officer in the security ranks of the country, is right in the thick of it. The main man, so to speak.

What’s a girl supposed to do? Is she supposed to confront her lover and risk losing the love of her life? Or should she let it slip and continue loving a man who she resents? Juliana gathers up courage and confronts her lover, threatening to go ahead and air the story…….. On the 14th of February!!!

Find out what happens to Juliana, her lover and her investigative piece when Laser Arts Ensemble present “My Black Valentines” this Friday the 13th of February from 6.30pm-8.30pm at Kisumu Hotel. The play stars William Ochieng as Officer Kifaru, Enock Omondi as Nicholus, Cindy Ogedah as Juliana and Viona Omollo as Sellina.
